South Forsyth High School Chess Club
Who are we?
South Forsyth Chess Club is a student run chess club focused on all things chess! We discuss history, drama, strategy and competition every meeting. Our meetings are typically on the last Tuesdays of the month, from 3:50 PM after school to 5 PM in room 1150. We are committed to leave an impact on the community, and are partners with Georgia Chess Association, where multiple members of our club volunteer. This year we are honored to be sponsored buy SIG-Susquehanna - a sponsorship which allowed us to upgrade our inventory and compete in the High School State Team Chess Championship! Come to join our amazing community and play some fun chess!

I have been playing competitive chess since four years old. I am responsible for meetings, planning, communication, advertising, partnerships and sponsorships.

I have been playing chess since elementary school, and was a part of State-winning Middle School Team. I make our club sweeter with donuts!

I love mathematics, especially applying mathematics and Game Theory to strategy games such as chess! As a secretary I am responsible for collecting attendance.

We are proud partners of the Georgia Chess Association. SFHS Chess Club provides opportunities for members to volunteer at GCA to improve the chess community.
